GTI
Glucocorticoid Toxicity Index

The one weighted outcome measure of steroid toxicity is now an app.

Fast, accurate, and easy to implement. The standard for measuring steroid toxicity in clinical trials.

Glucocorticoids are under-studied, overused, and extremely toxic.

More than 2/3
of trial patients receive steroids without routine monitoring of toxicity.
10 million
new steroid prescriptions written per year in the US.
34%
increase in long-term oral glucocorticoid prescriptions over the past 20 years.
Finally, an accurate measure of steroid toxicity for CROs and investigators.

The era of finding the best steroid-sparing therapies has begun. In support of this goal, the GTI equips clinical investigators to study and score steroid toxicity over the course of clinical trials.

The GTI App provides a 360° view of patients' results.
Using data recorded by both trial coordinators and clinician investigators, the GTI App gives a more complete picture of each patient.

For clinical investigators, by clinical investigators.

The Glucocorticoid Toxicity Index (GTI) was developed through data-driven approaches, expert consensus, and multi-criteria decision analysis. All 20 physician experts in the development group are clinical investigators and international authorities in subspecialties including rheumatology, pulmonary medicine, nephrology, neurology, psychiatry, dermatology, maternal-fetal medicine, and infectious disease.
