The first and only glucocorticoid toxicity index (GTI) is introduced - weighted and standardized to measure steroid safety

The Glucocorticoid Toxicity Index (GTI) was developed through an expert consensus approach using multi-criteria decision analysis. The 20 medical experts who participated in the development of the GTI are international authorities in their respective subspecialties, representing rheumatology, pulmonary medicine, nephrology, neurology, psychiatry, dermatology, maternal-fetal medicine, and infectious disease.

The GTI was created by experts in several sub-specialities and is based on data-driven, peer-reviewed research.
